Pier and beam mold repair on the north side turned into a bigger job than expected. The wooden subfloor support beams had absorbed moisture from a slow leak, allowing mold to spread through the crawlspace. We ended up removing and replacing a rotted section of beam, sealing the affected joists with a marine-grade encapsulant, and improving ventilation with a new crawl space fan.
